Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the CheatSheetAI application (the "App"), developed by Ömer Erdem Aydemir ("Developer"), you agree to comply with these Terms of Use ("Terms"). CheatSheetAI is an AI-powered mobile application that creates visual cheat sheets for studying and learning. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the App.

2. Service Description

CheatSheetAI provides AI-powered cheat sheet generation for educational purposes. Users can input topics or text, and the App uses Google Gemini AI to create visual, summarized cheat sheets. The service operates on a credit-based system where users spend credits to generate cheat sheets.

3. Account & Authentication

The App uses anonymous authentication by default. You may optionally link your account with an email address for account recovery purposes. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and account. You agree to notify the Developer immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.

4. Credits, Subscriptions & Billing

The App operates on a credit-based system with the following options:

• Credits: Users purchase credits to generate cheat sheets. Each cheat sheet generation consumes a specified number of credits.
• Subscription Plans: Subscribers receive a weekly allocation of credits as part of their plan. Unused weekly credits do not roll over unless otherwise specified in the plan details.
• One-Time Purchases: Users may also purchase credit packs as one-time, non-recurring transactions.
• Billing: All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store via RevenueCat.
• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time through your device's app store settings (Apple App Store or Google Play Store). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
• Refund Policy: Refunds are handled in accordance with Apple's App Store and Google Play Store refund policies. To request a refund, please contact Apple or Google directly through their respective support channels.

5. Acceptable Use

CheatSheetAI is designed for educational content creation. You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Use the App to generate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
• Generate content that infringes on any third-party intellectual property rights.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App or its AI systems.
• Use the App to generate content for academic dishonesty, such as submitting AI-generated work as your own in contexts where it is prohibited.
• Use automated scripts, bots, or other tools to access or interact with the App.
• Engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with the App or its servers and infrastructure.

6. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

The App uses Google Gemini AI to generate cheat sheet content. While we strive for accuracy and quality, please be aware of the following:

• AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies, errors, or outdated information.
• The Developer makes no warranties or guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated content.
• You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying any AI-generated content before relying on it for educational purposes, exams, or professional use.
• AI-generated cheat sheets are intended as study aids and supplementary materials, not as definitive sources of information.
• The quality and nature of generated content may vary depending on the input provided and the capabilities of the AI model.

7. User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of the text and topics you input into the App. By using the App, you grant the Developer a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to process your input through AI services for the purpose of generating cheat sheets. The generated cheat sheets are stored in your account and may be stored on our servers for the purpose of providing the service.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, and other intellectual property related to the App are owned by or licensed to the Developer. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, educational purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the App or its proprietary content without prior written consent.

9. Disclaimers

The App is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. The Developer does not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Developer disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. The Developer does not guarantee that AI-generated content will meet your specific requirements or expectations.

10. Limitations of Liability

In no event shall the Developer be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App, including but not limited to damages resulting from reliance on AI-generated content, loss of credits, or service interruptions. The Developer's total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the App is to stop using it.

11. Termination

The Developer may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the Developer. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Any unused credits or remaining subscription time may be forfeited upon termination for cause.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Turkey.

13. Changes to Terms

The Developer reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting in the App or on our website at cheatsheetai.app. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
